While flying over Yugoslavia the other day, I noticed that the houses in Serbia looked just like the houses in Kosovo, as did the people, the automobiles, the grocery stores and movie theatres. So...why the torment, the rape, murder and pillaging? Could it be something I said?

Have you noticed that when the seemingly omnipresent media lady thrusts a mike in the face of a healthy looking young man at the scene of an accident or large tragedy and asks what happened, the reply is, more often than not, "I was scared to death and ran like hell!". What has happened to women and children first? Help the old lady off the bus? AND THE ANSWER IS: we have become a "me first, save myself at any cost" generation of wimps, wienies and whiners. How about that Mr. Treblica?
